Services

I help founders and investors make technology decisions where the cost of a mistake is high — from an independent assessment before a deal to technical leadership and building teams.

How to tell what you need

Not sure which one is yours? Here's a quick guide.

First step

Technical Review

A one-off session on a single question for a fixed price — $450. For when you need a quick, competent answer rather than a large project.

How work starts

  1. A conversation. You describe the situation, by email or by call. Free, and commits you to nothing.
  2. I get into the problem. I ask questions and look at what's already there. Sometimes it turns out the real problem isn't the one you came with.
  3. I propose a format. What makes sense to do, at what scope and how long it will take. If you don't need my help, I'll say so.
  4. We work. With a clear outcome and a rhythm agreed up front.

Formats

You can start at any step, depending on how clear the task is.

  • Technical Review — a one-off session on a single question, fixed price. For when you need a quick, competent answer rather than a large project.
  • An assessment package — due diligence or an AI-readiness assessment: fixed scope, timeline and outcome. For when you need to understand a product or a direction in a structured way.
  • Ongoing work — fractional CTO, building teams, building and evolving systems. The scope isn't known up front, so the format and cost are set after the task is understood.

The cost of a Technical Review is credited toward the next step if the work continues.

Formats and terms

One-off or ongoing?
Both. Due diligence and audits are usually one-off; fractional CTO and team building are ongoing. The format follows the task, not the other way round.
How do you estimate scope and cost?
After I understand the task, not before. A price-list quote without understanding the situation is a bad service.
What about confidentiality?
An NDA is standard. Nothing I see leaves the room, including my public materials.
Where do we start?
With an email. Describe your situation — I'll reply within one business day.

What clients gain

  • An independent technical perspective.
  • A clear plan instead of assumptions.
  • Decisions grounded in both technology and business.
  • Confidence that critical risks have been identified early.
