- No. This is about corporate systems — internal and customer-facing: where there are processes, integrations and a real cost of error.
- Do you work alone or with a team?
- It depends on scope. I bring in a team when needed; responsibility for the outcome stays with me.
- Can you improve something written by others?
- Yes, that's a common case. We start from what's there and change only what gets in the way.
- How much does it cost?
- It depends on the scope and the state of what's already built. I give an estimate after I understand the task, not before.
- What if it's easier to rewrite?
- I don't propose rewriting a system when the problem can be solved another way. First we work out what the problem actually is.
