Business travel (TMC/MICE) / enterprise intranet
Internal corporate portal for a major business-travel company
A unified internal corporate portal for one of Russia's largest business-travel companies: digitizing core operational processes — HR, document management, and time & attendance with access-control integration. I grew from the company's webmaster — gathering requirements from departments and building the solution myself — into the lead of a small development team.

Key outcome
The company now had a single operational environment that replaced scattered internal processes and became the backbone of daily work.
Context
In the early 2000s a large company’s internal processes lived in silos: document management, HR records and cross-department coordination were handled by hand. The IT function was only taking shape, with no established processes or division of roles.
The key challenge
The company’s operational life had to be brought into one system where corporate IT processes didn’t yet exist. Critical processes — HR and time tracking — had to work reliably from day one.
My role
I started as the webmaster of the corporate website and grew into the developer and architect of the internal portal. I ran the whole cycle myself — from gathering business requirements across departments to implementation — and, as it grew, formed and led a small development team.
The solution
A single corporate portal that brought together the company’s core operational processes: HR (including absence planning tied to payroll and time & attendance with access-control integration), document management and internal communications across departments.
Results
The portal became the company’s single internal environment, uniting departments and processes from HR records to time tracking. The project evolved over eight years and grew from one specialist’s task into a product maintained by a team under my leadership.
Why this matters for my clients
This experience shows that I bring scattered business processes into a working system and take it from idea to operation — even where everything has to be built from scratch.
